Summer Housing
Summer housing will be provided in the Tower Residence Hall. Due to limited availability, priority will be given to students enrolled in classes, hired to perform summer research activities in SURE, Carthage-sponsored internships, and student employees.
Rates and Billing Information

Summer residential fee installments are applied directly to the student account and have the following due dates:
- Summer Move-in - June 30: (Due Jul. 1)
- July 1-31: (Due Aug. 1)
- Aug. 1-Fall Move-in: (Due Sep. 1)
Students with unfavorable balances (more than $2,500) must pay for 100% of summer housing costs upfront. As an alternative option, students can pay down their unfavorable balance and then pay the monthly installments.
Application Process
Applications are available on March 1 through the Housing Self-Service Portal. Summer housing assignments will be provided during the check-in process.
Transition to Summer Housing Process
Students are required to transition from their spring 2025 to summer 2025 housing assignment on May 30. Students MUST be on campus and available to move on this date or will need to remove all of their belongings from their spring 2025 housing assignment when the halls close on May 21.
Students are required to transition from their summer 2025 to fall 2025 housing assignment when their room becomes available in August. Transition notices will be sent to students as spaces are turned over and cleaned. Students MUST be on campus and available to move to their fall assignment for their provided transition date.
